Barcelona

Right after, or I should say right in the middle of, all the Christmas craziness Nate and I left it all behind and took a trip to southern Europe. We started with Barcelona and spent New years eve there. We loved how warm it was and the ocean was beautiful. We loved all the Gaudi sights and spent New years eve on Las Ramblas. This was one of the only nights we had a hotel room on the trip (we mostly slept on trains and in train stations) so we loved it and probably turned in shortly before midnight so we rang in the new year at breakfast.

Nate and a giant lobster on the boardwalk.

Me in front Sagrada Familia, the giant strange church that they have been building for like 120 years.

Me in front of the Gaudi apartments.

Nate on Las Ramblas. Happy New Year!

  1. I went to Spain when I was in high school. Good memories. We went to Madrid and other places... Malaga on the coast, and got to put our feet in the Mediterranean. It really sounds fun that you're getting to see so many sights while you're there. How long will you and Nate be in London?

  3. We are planning another trip to Spain in the spring so we can see Madrid and Malaga. We are only here for four more months and time is going so fast. We are trying to get to Paris in the next couple of weeks. We are avoiding Valentines weekend though.
