Staying Busy
Believe it or not you can actually run out of things to do in London. When you are on a budget and you don't drink or party the city can be a boring place once you have seen all the museums and tourist spots. I definitly have not sampled all London has to offer but my point is this: if anyone has any good book they have read or any suggestions on time fillers while Nate is in school I would love to hear them! I signed up for a library card and I found a few art classes that I'm going to take. I also am taking the time while the weather is nice to freak watch in Hyde park. It is a whole new world here and I love it. It just gets boring when I run out of books to read on the tube.

Pictures of London
Here are a few pictures we have taken since we have been here. There are so many things to see here and I am glad we invested in a fancy camera before we came. Here is one of me in front of the Tower Bridge (the one that everyone thinks is the London Bridge, including Fergie) and one from another bridge in St. James' Park. The last one is a picture of Big Ben and some of the trees in the courtyard of Parliment.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish
The best thing about Notre Dame is the football. We have become die hard fans and we are really sad to be missing games this year. We found an American sports bar here that plays all the games so we get to watch them but it's not the same. Plus, it is a little odd for us to spend every Saturday night in a bar and then get up early for church the next morning. But for Notre Dame football we do what we have to do. Here are some of the pictures we took last year. When my family came last year for the BYU game my parents had tickets almost in the end zone so they got some great pics.
This picture is Darius Walker, Notre Dame's running back, praying before the game. Apparently it worked because Notre Dame smashed BYU that game. Sorry guys.

Notre Dame Campus
Here are some picutres of the campus in South Bend. It is a huge and beautiful campus. Most of the time it seems so empty because Notre Dame likes to keep the number of students to a minimum but on game days it is crazy busy and we love it. The Law building is near the center of campus just down the quad (known as "God Quad") from the golden dome and the basilica.

Nate goes to Notre Dame!
Nate started Law school at The University of Notre Dame last year. He finished his first year and we are so glad it is over. As soon as I figure out how I will post some pictures of the campus and our apartment in Mishawaka, IN. We are now well into our second year in London and more posts are forthcoming.
The Sechrests are going to...
Welcome to our blog! We are in London and doing well. Much Love to all our family and friends.
