Shocker... I know

Two blog posts in the space of one week! This can't be Nate and Alayna's blog! Oh but it is. There have been many goings on that I have missed over the last few months but here are a couple of the highlights:

Hooray for Christmas! It was a very good year and we got to see both of our families but also have our own Christmas morning. It was so nice.

Jordan and Kaitlynn fell in love while they were playing the leads in a play called Blackbeard... thus the slightly pirate themed (and stunningly beautiful) wedding.

And last but not least... Baby Afton was born! We love this little girl! She is our third niece and she is so sweet that we say-- Keep em coming!

THE BIG 28!

Nate had a birthday (shout hooray)! He turned 28 yesterday. We had a nice dinner courtesy of Nate's boss and saw Sherlock Holmes-- it was awesome! I can't believe that Nate is 28 or that I'm almost 25 or that we have been married almost 6 years! It seems like it has gone by so fast but we have done so much. Nate is a real live lawyer now and he has been done with law school for a year and a half already. It is so fun to watch him go off to court and smack people down in his fancy suits. He is the bright spot in my day and he has inspired me to do things I would never do on my own-- like live in Draper (and London, and South Bend, and Boise). I love you baby! Happy Birthday!
